The death has occurred of
Bernard (Barney) MCPOLAND
Bernard (Barney) McPoland (formerly of Naas and Belfast) on November 19, 2022. Barney passed away peacefully in the loving and compassionate care of the staff at Orwell Nursing Home, Rathgar. He remains forever in the hearts of his loving wife Kathleen, children John, Brenda, Tony, Paddy and Maureen. Barney will be sadly missed by his grandchildren James, Ben, Amy, Isobel, Georgia and Adam; his sons and daughters in-law Aldagh, Jules, Phoebe, Aidan and Tim, and extended family and friends.
Removal on Tuesday to The Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas, arriving for 12 noon Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Corban’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Cystic Fibrosis Ireland, a charity very close to Barney’s heart. Enquiries to Murphy Brothers Funeral Directors, Church Lane, Naas Ph 045 897397.
