CAHILL Bernard (Barny) (Rutland Avenue, Dublin 12,) April 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at St. James’s Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Veronica and loving dad of Lisa, Ben and Louise. He will be very sadly missed by his loving children, sisters Lily, Marie, Teresa, Patty, Bernadette and the late Ellen, Myles, James and baby Ann, sons-in-law Stuart and Karl, daughter-in-law Pauline, grandchildren Connor, Cara, Karl Jnr, Freya and Fianna, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, 1-3 Dolphin’s Barn on Friday April 10, 2026 from 12 noon until 5pm.

 

Funeral Mass on Saturday morning, April 11, at 11am at Our Lady of Dolours Church, Dolphin’s Barn, followed by cremation prayers in the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium at 1pm approx. At the family's request, will everyone attending the funeral please wear an item of blue clothing, as Bernard was a huge Dublin Supporter.
