Bernard (Ben) Traynor

Bernard (Ben) Traynor, (Donabate and formerly of Beaumont, Dublin) – 11th March 2025. Passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, while surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Christina and Tom Traynor, beloved husband of Gerardine (Ger) (née O’Reilly) and cherished father of Conor and Cliodhna.

Sadly missed and remembered by all of his loving family; brothers Kevin and Niall, sisters Maria and Fiona, sisters-in-law Ciara, Olga and Patricia, brothers-in-law David and Richard, nephews Joe, Cathal, Brian, Seán, Orla, Christian, Colm and Orlaith, uncle Frank, relatives, neighbours, work colleagues and his many friends.

Bernard will repose at his home on Tuesday evening (18th March) from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (19th March) to St. Patrick’s Church, Donabate arriving for 11:30am Mass, followed by burial in Ardla Cemetery, Skerries.

Ger, Conor and Cliodhna would like to take this opportunity to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of ICU at St. Vincent’s University Hospital for taking such good care of Bernard during his time with them, and they would especially like to thank Bernard’s amazing close family and friends for all their help and support at this very difficult time.
