Bernard (Ber) LANDY

Bernard (Ber) Landy of Ballinabranna, Carlow and formerly of Prospect, Ballingarry, Co Tipperary, passed away peacefully, in his 101st year, on November 21st, 2024 surrounded by his loving family and in the excellent care of the staff at Glendale Nursing Home, Tullow, Co. Carlow.

Beloved husband of the late Mary, much loved father of Marian, Ted and Loretto adored grandfather of Riona, Marie-Therese, John, Lauren, Eamonn, John and Emma and cherished brother of Nance and the late Maura, Pauline, Claire and Eamonn.

He will be Sadly missed by his loving son, daughters, sons-in-law Tom and Brendan, daughter-in-law Margaret, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Bernard’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Carpenters Funeral Home, Shamrock Square, Carlow, (Eircode R93 C863) on Saturday, November 23rd, from 4pm concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Removal on Sunday at 1.30pm to St Fintan’s Church, Ballinabranna, (via his residence) arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
