Bernard (Berney) McKeon

Berney passed away peacefully at home in the company of his loving family aged 95 years (just 7 weeks short of his 96th Birthday)

Predeceased by his brothers Sean and P.J.

Beloved husband of the late Mary and devoted father to Anne, Bernadette and Veronica, much loved grandfather to James, Caitriona and Brian and their partners David and Rachael and great grandfather (gaga) to his adored Caitlín.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his daughters, grandchildren and great granddaughter.

Berney will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families, his very kind neighbours and many friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Caitriona Waters, Barna, for her continuous kindness, support and care for Berney.

Funeral Arrangements:

Tuesday 25 November, 2025 - Reposing at the Cillín within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna from 6.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.

Wednesday 26 November, 2025 - Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Berney at the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna on arrival at 12 noon.

Following Mass he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Mary in Reilig Realt na Mara, Furbo.
