The death has occurred of
Bernard (Bernie) McKiernan
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the loving care of all at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork. Beloved partner and best friend of Pauline (O’Keeffe) and much loved father of Christina, Rebecca, Jessica, Lisa, Yvonne and the late Leonard. Son of the late May and Louis and brother of Irene, Annette, Howard, Rita, CeCe, Maureen, David, Carol and the late Evelyn, brother-in-law of the late Ann and Joe. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his partner, daughters, brothers, sisters, grandchildren especially Brooke with whom he had a special bond, sons-in-law Ger, Pat, Calvin and Pa, daughter-in-law Del, sisters-in-law Mary, Fiona, Kay, Eileen and Ceceilia, brothers-in-law Seanie, Pat, Bob and Paddy, uncle Andrew, nephews, nieces, extended family, his former work colleagues and friends at Fota Wildlife Park, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
MAY BERNIE REST IN PEACE
Bernie will repose at Cahill’s Funeral Home, Newtown Road, Cobh (P24Y383) on Tuesday 15th August 2023 from 7.00 p.m. with prayers at 8.00 p.m. Removal on Wednesday 16th August 2023 at 10.30 a.m. to St. Colman’s Cathedral for 11.00 a.m. Requiem Mass followed by burial in St. Colman’s Cemetery
