The death has occurred of Bernard (Bernie) Russell Griffin, Cloonadarragh, Ballintubber, Castlerea, County Galway, retired postman, 13th March 2025, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Roscommon Hospice.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary, brothers Joe Oliver, Mattie Martin (infant) and Packie John, sisters Mary Francis (infant), Katie Christina (infant) and Eileen.
Deeply regretted by his siblings Bridie (Kusior)(New York), brother Luke Frances, and Rita Margaret (Connelly) (Kilmacrickard), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
A special word of thanks to those who cared for Bernie, Home Help, staff of Fearna Manor Nursing Home, Galway University College Hospital, Mayo University College Hospital, Dr. Jones and her care team in Roscommon Hospital and Roscommon Hospice.
May He Rest in Peace
Reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Ballymoe this Friday evening 14th March from 6pm until 7.30pm
Followed by removal to St Croan's Church, Ballymoe.
Funeral Mass on Saturday 15th March at 12pm.
Followed by burial afterwards in Kilcroan Cemetery.
