The death has occurred of

Bernard (Brian) AGNEW

Dublin Street, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home. Brian, much loved husband of the late Kathleen, loving father of Patrick, Ciaran and Noel, dear grandfather of Pádraic, Christine, Kerry, Charlotte, Jonathon and the late Gerard. Dear brother of Theresa (Green), Noleen (Dillon, Listowel) and the late Seamus, Paddy, John, Gerard, Oliver, Frank, Tom and Vincent. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing sons, grandchildren, sisters, daughters-in-law Marie, Trisha, and Jennifer, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Due to Level 5 restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Brian's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family only. There will be an opportunity for the community to show support and to remember Brian by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Friday, January 22nd as the funeral cortege leaves from his son's home in Belfry Gardens proceeding to St. Joseph's Redemptorist Church, for Funeral Mass at 11am and afterwards proceeding via St. Alphonsus' Villas, Avenue Road, Hill Street, Dublin Street and Town Centre to St. Patrick's Cemetery for burial.
