Bernard Gillane

The death has occurred of Bernard Gillane, Cloone, Peterswell, Co Galway. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness at the Galway Clinic. Pre-deceased by his father Frank and mother Molly, brother Joe & sister Marie. Bernard was a much loved husband and best friend to Kathleen, a cherished father to his sons Niall, David & Frank. His daughters Mary, Ruth, Edel, Ann & Noreen, Sons- in- law Padraig Linanne, Mike Gill, Peter Cummins, Finbarr Gantley & Mike McNamara, daughters in law Charlotte & Julie and Franks partner Aine and his very good friend and neighbour Gerry Cusack. Bernard will be deeply missed by his adored grandchildren, Jack, Ronan, Aoife, Nathan, Rachel, Laura, Lucy, Anna, Shauna, Conor, Evan, Cian, Finn, Kate, Tom, Conal, Caelan, Cillian, Ayla, Aaron and baby Emma, his sisters Pauline Leen, Rita McMahon & Breda Crowe, brothers-in -law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Bernard will repose at his home in Cloone (H91 E86Y) on Friday 6th December from 2pm to 6pm. Funeral mass Saturday at 12 noon in St Columba's Church, Kilbeacanty with burial afterwards in Rakerin Cemetery. *House strictly private on Saturday morning*. Family flowers only, donation, if desired, to CROI.
