Bernard McNamara

It's with a very heavy heart that we announce the death of our incredible father, Bernard McNamara passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025. Predeceased by his father Paddy, mother Helen and brother Anthony. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken son Kenneth, daughters Micaela and Levi and by their mother Linda.Lovingly remembered always by his adored grandchildren Mia, Ethan, William, Nasya, Conor, Tuiren and Turlough, brothers Gerry and James and sister Mary, by his dearest, cherished friend Emily and all his nieces and nephews.

If love alone could have saved you, you would have lived forever.

 

Funeral arrangements:

Friday July 18, 2025 Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) from 4.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

 

Saturday July 19, 2025 Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Bernard at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road, on arrival at 11.00 a.m. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.

 

Family flowers only. Donations if desired in memory of Bernard to a charity of your own choice.
