Bernard Shiel

John Bernard Shiel better known as Bernie (formerly of Woodford) passed away peacefully in his 80th year surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Michael & Rose Shiel and his brother Michael.

Bernie will be sadly missed and forever loved by his caring wife Mary (née Madden) and children Claire, Kevin, Irene, Monica, Eamon & Daniel, their partners Alan, Sarah, Willie, Gerry, Mags and Linda. His beloved grandchildren Amber, Ross, Jade, Lee, Alanna, Oisin, Keelin, Fiachra, Samantha, Ellise, Maisie, Mollie and Cillian. Brother Laurence and Family, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews and all the members of the extended family, friends and neighbours.

Bernie will repose in Cawley's Funeral Home, Craughwell on Wednesday 8th of November from 5pm to 7.30pm. Funeral cortege will arrive at St Colemans Church, Craughwell on Thursday 9th of November for Requiem Mass at 12pm (click HERE for live Mass stream)with burial afterwards to Ballymore Cemetery.
