Bernice McCarthy
(née Verling)
McCarthy (Ballincollig) On September 20th 2023, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Bernice (née Verling) beloved wife of Bill, loving mother of Renée, John and Hilda, fond grandmother of Aoife, Nathan, Quin and Jessie and sister of the late John. Deeply mourned by her husband and family, sons-in-law Dave and Dave, sister Ada, brother Ben, sister-in-law Miriam, brothers-in-law Tim and Tom, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends especially Michéal.
Rest in peace.
Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig. Visitation on Thursday (21st) from 6pm to 7pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass at 11.30am Friday (22nd) in the Church of St Mary and St. John, Ballincollig which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/stmjballincollig. Funeral afterwards to St Oliver’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Marymount Hospice. https://marymount.ie/get-involved/donate/.
