Bernie (Bernadette) CONNEELY

Formerly of the Aran Islands. Our beloved Bernie passed away peacefully in St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, on 20th October 2021. Pre-deceased by her father, John. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her loving partner, Des, their daughters, Ailbhe and Aoife, her mother Bridie, her sister Breda, her brothers John Joe, Mike, and Gerry, her brother-in-law, Glen, her sisters-in-law, Pat, Breege, and Rosie, her nieces, Deirdre, Ailish, Rachel, and Aideen, her nephews, Brian, Ronan, and Darragh, Des's family, her extended family, her friends, and neighbours.

Bernie will repose at home on Thursday, 21st October. The house will be private except for family and relations from 5PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 22nd October, at 12 noon in the Church of the Assumption, Howth. Burial afterwards in St. Fintan's cemetery, arriving at approximately 2PM. If attending the church, please adhere to the Government, and HSE advice regarding COVID-19. Funeral Mass will be live-streamed here.  Family flowers only please. Donations, if preferred, to St. Francis' Hospice, Raheny, or to cancer research. Condolences may be expressed through the condolence section below.

Des and Bernie's families would like to give a special thanks to the staff in The Mater Private Hospital, and St. Francis Hospice, Raheny who cared for Bernie. They would also like to thank their family, friends, and neighbours for their ongoing support. They are very grateful for your kindness.
