Bernie (Bernadette) Cummins, née Mcloughlin, Derrydonnell, Oranmore, Co. Galway.

Unexpectedly, on June 12th 2024. Predeceased by her parents John and Catherine Mcloughlin, her siblings Ann, Rita, Mary, Jackie, Lily, Eileen, Bridie, Noreen and Joe.

Bernie will be deeply missed by her loving husband Willie of almost 63 years, her children Mary (James Trayers), Padraic (Lorraine), Majella (Ger Kennedy), Colette (Eamon Madden), Liam, and Paschal (Robbie), her adored grandchildren Jonathan (Mimi), Orla, Daniel, David, Niamh, Isabel, Clare, Rebecca, Daire, Erica, and Nicole, her great grandchild Jamie, her siblings Kathleen, Oliver, Sr. Marie, Kevin, Phyllis, and Frankie, Willie’s sisters Sr. Greta and Cepta Byrne, David and Niamh’s mother Phyllis, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Sunday 16th June 2024 from 4.30pm to 7pm. Arriving to the Church of The Assumption, Athenry on Monday 17th June for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Athenry, Co. Galway. Mass will be live streamed on the following link https://www.churchmedia.tv/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to on Parish radio 106.5fm. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Croí (https://croi.ie/donate/). House private Monday morning.
