Bernie Brickley
(née Sexton)

Brickley (Courtmacsherry) on 26th March 2026, peacefully in Clonakilty Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family, Bernie (née Sexton) (Pier View), beloved wife of the late David and much loved mother of Diarmuid, Margo, Michelle, James, Patricia and her babies born sleeping.

Loving sister of Gretta (Crowley) and the late Denis, Mary, Miah, Sheila, Kitty, Nelius and Nuala and grandmother of the late Marie.

Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers-in-law, Michael Collins and Billy Crowley, daughters-in-law Noreen and Tia, sons-in-law Kieran Sexton, Bernie Keenan and Eddie McCabe, her 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

 

 

May Bernie Rest In Peace

Lying in Repose in Foleys Funeral Home, Timoleague on Sunday 29th March from 6pm followed by prayers at 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Monday 30th March at 12 noon in the Sacred Heart Church, Courtmacsherry which will be livestreamed here followed by burial in Timoleague Abbey.
