Bernie Gunne (nee Carroll), Dundalk, Co. Louth. peacefully in her 94th year at her daughter Alva's residence. 6th May 2014. Bernie. wife of the late Pat and loving Mum of the late Philip, Fintan and Ruth. She will be so sadly missed by her daughters Dara (Smyth), Rosemarie (Connolly), Bernie (Connolly) and Alva (Flannelly), sister Una (Mc Ardle), daughters-in-law Maureen and Maura, sons-in-law Michael, Fintan, Sean, Kieran and John, her treasured and adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her daughter Alva and son-in-law Fintan Flannelly's residence, Allen House, Pluckerstown, Kilmeague, Nass, Co. Kildare on Wednesday, 7th May, from 4pm until 8pm and from her daughter Bernie and son-in-law Sean Connolly's residence, Deerpark, Carrick Road, Dundalk on Thursday, 8th May, from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, 9th May, at 12 noon in St Joseph's Redemptorist Church. Followed by private family burial at her request. Family flowers only. Our heartfelt thanks to St. Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh, Co. Kildare and the night Angles. Donation, if desired, to St Brigid's Hospice. House private please on the morning of the funeral.
