Bernie Kennedy
(née Kelly)

Bernie Kennedy (nee Kelly), of Turloughmore and Castlegar, Galway, most recently living in Fredericksburg Texas, died unexpectedly on 24th June 2025 at the age of 91.

Pre deceased by her mother Jane, father Peter, brothers Eugene, Gerry, Des and John and sister Maureen.

Greatly missed by husband Doug, daughter Sinéad, son John, Son-in-law Jason, Daughter-in-law Ciara, grandchildren Fallon, Lorcan, Rowan and Cora and sister in laws Maura, Leone and Mercedes, cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends and neighbours in Galway, Sydney and the USA. Bernie leaves a huge hole in the lives of all that knew and loved her.

Funeral Mass on 23rd August at 11:00am at St Columba's Church, Castlegar, followed by burial at Lackagh Cemetery.

There is a celebration of Bernie's life at the Ardilaun Hotel, Galway from 3pm Saturday, August 23rd. All are welcome.
