Bernie Mc Namara (Newcastle, Galway, and formerly Chapel St., Louisburgh, Co. Mayo) March 12th 2026: (unexpectedly) at her home. Loving daughter of the late Tommie and Annie (née O'Malley), and sister of the late William, Mary & Thomas (died Dec. 2025) and aunt of the late Liam. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her loving sister Ann Ferguson (Ballina), brothers Joe (Foxford), and John (Galway), sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews & nieces, cousins, neighbours, and a large circle of friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Bernie will rest in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Sunday (March 15th) from 5:30pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers and removal at 7:00pm, walking to St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 12 noon, followed by interment in Kilgeever Cemetery.
