McCabe (née Balfe) Bernie, 18th February 2026 (Crumlin and formerly Pimlico Terrace); peacefully after a very short illness, surrounded by her loving family and in the kind care of the staff of St. James’s Hospital. Beloved wife of Paul, loving mam of Ciara, adored nana of Bonnie and cherished sister of Mary, Philip, Margaret, James, Hughie and the late Joseph. Predeceased by her parents Maureen and Joe.

 

Bernie will be forever loved and sadly missed by her heartbroken family, Ciara’s partner Ciaran, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Friday (20th February) from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday (21st February) at 10am in St. Agnes’ Church, Crumlin Village followed by Cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium at 11.30am.
