POPE (Bishopstown, Cork): On November 15th, 2023, peacefully, after a short illness at the Cork University Hospital in presence of his loving family, BERNIE, dearly loved husband of Bernice (née Cotter) and much loved father of Billy, Jackie (Harrington), Linda (O’Sullivan), Jane (Hughes) and Nicky (Carroll) and loving brother of Rita, Billy, Peggy, Gemma, Bertie and the late Esme, Finbarr and Marian.

 

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law George, Johnny and Brian, daughter-in-law Denise, Jackie’s partner Leo, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

 

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road, of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd: On Thursday (November 16th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Friday (November 17th) in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Dennehy’s Cross which can be viewed

Funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr’s Cemetery.
