Bernie passed away peacefully on Friday 22nd January, 2021 in the excellent care of the Palliative Care unit, UHK.

Late of Shantalla Avenue, Dublin.

Beloved wife of Jackie (deceased January, 20).

Predeceased by her parents Gerald and Lilian Cody, Dublin and husband Christy Leonard, also her brother Gerard and sisters Maura, Pat and Anne.

Sadly missed by her loving sister Eileen Curran (Dublin), nephews, nieces, kind friend Paudie.  sisters in law, brother in law George,  relatives, her many friends and neighbours. 

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

In accordance with HSE guidelines and in the interest of public health a private family funeral will take place for Bernie in the church of the Assumption, Moyvane on Tuesday, 26th January at 12.00 noon followed  by private cremation in the Shannon Crematorium.(10 allowed in church).

For those who wish to extend their sympathy by joining a guard of honour the funeral cortege will depart the church of the Assumption, Moyvane, at 1.00 pm approx. passing her own home on route to the Shannon Crematorium or also by clicking on the condolence button below.
