DOONEY - (neé Hannon), Bertha
(Cross, Edmondstown, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon and late of Fauleens, Monasteraden, Co. Sligo). April 12th, 2026 - (Peacefully) at home in the tender loving care of her family in her 94th year.
Predeceased by her husband Joe, their daughter Ita and granddaughter Teresa, she will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, her children Padraig, Gerard, Dermot, Siobhan and Annie, her 16 grandchildren, Aidan, Ciarán, Niall, Shane, Chloe, Colm, Lisa, Nikita, Ross, Gary, Jason, David, Brian, Aoife, Eimear and Alwyn, her 9 great-grandchildren, Karis, Orla, Emily, Olivia, Daisy, Éanna, Odhrán, Páidí, Éala, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Bertha will lie in repose in The Kilgarriff Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Wednesday evening from 5 o'clock with removal at 7:30 o'c to St. Aidan's Church, Monasteraden arriving at 8:30 o'c (Via Gurteen, Moygara and Fawleens).
Mass of the Resurrection Thursday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Kilcolman Cemetery.
