Bertie Conway

Bertie Conway of St. Brendan’s Park, Tralee, Co. Kerry, died peacefully at home, in his 97th year, surrounded by four generations of his heartbroken family, on 1st June 2025, beloved husband of Bernie (née Foley), adored father of Philip, Tina, Martin, Mary, Jacinta (O'Mahony) & Noreen (Rusk) and dear brother of the late Micheál & Paddy.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his cherished grandchildren Jessica, Vicki, Brendan, James, Ciara, Jennifer, Shauna, Rebecca, Dean & Meghan, great grandchildren Scott, Lucas, Kate, Izzy, Sadie, Beatrix, Oscar, Benjamin & Theo, nephews Gerard & Michael, niece Geraldine, sons-in-law Rory & Brian, daughters-in-law Doreen & Bríd, brother-in-law Dominick, sisters-in-law Mary (Comerford) & Patty (McCarthy), relatives, neighbours and many wonderful friends.

Reposing at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee on Monday (2nd June) from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral arriving to Our Lady & St. Brendan’s Church, on Tuesday morning at 10.30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Bertie will be celebrated at 11 a.m. (streamed on www.stbrendansparishtralee.net). Interment afterwards in Rath Cemetery, Tralee.

Bertie’s family would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank his Home Care, the Public Health Nurses and the Palliative Care Teams, who gave such exceptional attention and care to him, especially in his last few days.
