The death has occurred of
Bertie Hanlon
Bertie Hanlon, late of Knocknacarra, Galway, and formerly Bellview, Lawrencestown, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway & Bord na Mona, Shannonbridge. ~March 9th 2025 ~ Peacefully in the company of his loving family at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar and previously in the excellent care of Bro. John and the staff at the Camillus Nursing Centre, Killucan, Co. Westmeath. Predeceased by his beloved son Michael.
Cherished husband of Kathleen and much adored father of Audrey, Bertie will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Kathleen, daughter Audrey and her husband Tony, granddaughters Emma and Sarah and their partners Alan and David, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Remembering also his parents and siblings and all the deceased members of the Hanlon and Higgins families.

Reposing at the Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel, Killucan N91 VF51 on Tuesday 11th March from 4pm concluding with prayers at 6pm. Bertie's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel on Wednesday at 10.30am followed by burial in Rahoon Cemetery, Galway City H91 XW62 (expected time of arrival 2pm).
