Bertie MESSITT
Former Irish Olympian. Peacefully, at home after a long illness. Sadly missed by his wife Maureen, sons Raymond, Alan, Stephen and Nigel, daughter Lesley (Scanlon), brother Liam, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughters-in-law, fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray,
tomorrow evening, Monday, from 6pm to 8pm, with evening prayers at 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.20am to St. Anne's Church, Shankill for
11am Funeral Mass, followed by interment in Shanganagh Cemetery.
