On November 16th 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Betty (née Shanahan) beloved wife of Bill and loving mother of John and Geraldine (Hegarty), devoted grandmother of Alannah, Jack and Ailbhe and great-grandmother of Michael. Sister of Mary (Bullman) and the late John, Pat and Joe. Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter, son-in-law Mark, daughter-in-law Grace, grandchildren, great-grandson, sister, brother-in-law Robbie, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends especially Kathleen, Geraldine and Lisa and John Kinsella.

Rest in peace.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home Ballincollig (P31 W982) Monday (17th) from 6.00pm with prayers at 7.00pm. Requiem Mass at 12 noon Tuesday (18th) in the Church of St Mary and St John Ballincollig which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/stmjballincollig Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
