Smith (Gurranes, Templemartin) passed away peacefully on December 29th 2023 in Cork University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Betty (Elizabeth) (née Walsh) beloved wife to Michael, much loved Mother to Carol (Baker), Siobhain (O’Callaghan), Paula (White) and Gerard, sister to Jack and the late Kitty, Mickie, Joe, and Tessie, adored Nanny to Lisa, Jonathan, Sarah, Alan, Daragh, Michael, James and Laura and great-grandmother to James and Tom.

 

Sadly missed by her beloved family, sons-in-law Jim, Don and Sean, Also David, Alice and Annie, Adam, Karen, Sarah and Sofia, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and wide circle of friends.

 

 

Betty will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon (Eircode P72WE20) on Sunday evening from 5pm followed by prayers at 7pm.

 

Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon in St. Martin's Church, Farnivane (Eircode P72CC84) which will be livestreamed on the Murragh and Templemartin Parish Facebook page, funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
