The death has occurred of Betty Kelly, née Ryan, Church Street, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, and formerly of Carlanstown, Co. Meath, peacefully and surrounded by her family in the loving care of the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, Castleblayney, 30th December 2023.
Deeply regretted by her husband Clifford, daughter Margaret, sons Mark, Cliff, Niall & Martin. Sadly missed by her brother Brendan (Carlanstown), sisters Edna (O’Shea), Hilda (McCormack), Mary Veronica (Fleming), Patricia (Walsh) & Bernadette (Curtis), her 12 beloved grandchildren, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Betty’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. John McMahon, Dr. Heather McCullagh, Fr. Gerry McCormack, the staff of Kingscourt Primary Care Service, the carers, nurses, and the very dedicated staff of St. Mary’s and all the carers who looked after Betty over recent years.
Rest In Peace
Reposing at the home of her daughter Margaret, Dunaree Lane, Kingscourt, (A82 PW94) on Monday, 1st January, from 2pm to 8pm. Removal from Betty’s home on Wednesday morning at 9.40am for funeral Mass at 10am, in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House strictly private at all other times please.
