The death has occurred of
Betty Lucey
Lucey (Kilbrogan, Bandon) on January 30th 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Betty (nee Doyle), beloved wife of the late Eddie and dear mother of Brigid, Eamon, Fergal and John.
Sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Jeremy, daughters-in-law Honor, Catherine and Ellen, sister-in-law Kathleen, her 9 grandchildren Simon, Katelyn, Senan, Jack, Emma, Elise, James, Clara and Daniel, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Betty will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon (eircode P72WE20) on Monday from 4pm followed by Prayers at 6pm.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Bandon which will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie/live/, after which Betty will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery.
