Betty McCarthy
(née Stark)
McCARTHY (Central Avenue, Bishopstown, Cork): On March 21st, 2026, peacefully, in the tender care of the staff at the Cork University Hospital, BETTY (née Stark), beloved wife of the late Liam and loving mother of Frank, Harry, Paul, Finbarr and Joe, grandmother to her 8 grandchildren and great-grandmother to her 6 great-grandchildren, predeceased by her daughter-in-law Evelyn, granddaughter Maria and great-grandson James.
Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Catherine, Mary and Christine, sister-in-law Marion, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Tuesday (March 24th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Wednesday (March 25th) in St. Joseph’s S.M.A Church, Wilton which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to Finbarr’s Cemetery.
