On September 8th 2025 peacefully in the wonderful care of staff at Bandon Community Hospital. Betty (nee Scannell) beloved wife of Raymond and adored mother of Angela (McCarthy), Elaine (Waldron), Billy and Orla (Leane). Predeceased by her parents Denis and Mary Ellen Scannell and sisters Eileen and Nora. Sadly missed by her loving family, son's in law , grandchildren Ciara, Shane, Mairéad, Pádraic, Tomás, Michael, Donnacha and Doireann, brothers Jim, Denis and Jerry, sisters Ann (Goggin) and Catherine (Kingston), brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing in Bolsters Funeral Home Bandon on Tuesday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm followed by prayers at 7 pm. Requiem mass on Wednesday at 2 pm in St Patrick’s Church Bandon which will be live-streamed on www.bandonparish.ie , burial after in the adjoining cemetery
