Betty Roche (née Harnett), Ballycommane, Tournafulla, Co. Limerick, formerly of Dromtrasna-O’Brien, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully in her 99th year in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at St. Ita’s Community Hospital, Newcastle West on Tuesday, 2nd April 2024.

Betty, wife of the late Pat, mother of the late twin brothers Mossie and Pat, mother-in-law of the late Joan, is very sadly missed by her sons Bro. Willie/ Liam, (CBS Ennis) and Nelius, daughters Mary Ita Curtin and Eilish Baggott (Rathkeale), sons-in-law Petie and Eddie, daughter-in-law Martina, grandchildren Michael Curtin and his wife Caroline, Patrick Curtin and his wife Frances, Pádraig, Anita and Éamonn Baggott, Caitríona, Pádraig, Conor and Niamh de Róiste, great-grandchildren Aoife and Darragh Curtin, brother Maurice (Birmingham), nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, kind neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Thursday, 4th April from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. Removal on Friday, 5th April to St. Patrick’s Church Tournafulla to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. Requiem Mass will be live streamed on Templeglantine Tournafulla Mountcollins Parishes Facebook page.
