Betty Williams
(née Downey)
Betty Williams, Bawnard West, Midleton, on January 14th, 2026, unexpectedly and peacefully at home. Betty (nee Downey), in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Mike and dear mother of Julie, Ollie, Ruth and the late Mickey. Loving nana of Michael, Laura, John-Joe, Robert, Tianha, Millie, Alberto and Izek, great-grandmother of Evan, Ted and Ada.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, grandchildren, Mike’s wife Denise and Laura’s fiancé Colm, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law John McCarthy and Graham Ryall, daughters-in-law Mary and Anne, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces nephews, relatives and friends.
Betty is pre-deceased by her parents Jim and Mary Downey and her siblings.
May Betty Rest In Peace.
Betty will repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton P25X382 on Friday 16th from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Reception into Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Saturday for 11 a.m. Funeral Mass followed by private cremation.
