DINEEN (Cork) On 1st April 2024, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, BILL, Fairfield Road, Farranree and late Company Sergeant, B Company 4th Battalion, Collins Barracks. Beloved husband of Bernie (nee O’Connor) and much loved father of Mark, Glen and the late Thomas and loving brother of Mary. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, grandchildren especially Lucy-Ann, daughter-in-law Julie, Mark’s partner Bernadette and her son Ryan, brother-in-law Patsy, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Wednesday (3rd April) from 10.00am, family in attendance from 5.00pm with Rosary at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (4th April) at 11.00am in the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s New Cemetery, Curraghkippane. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Marymount Hospice.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Marymount Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Bill during his illness.

They also wish to thank Elizabeth and Pat for their friendship and kindness

and the Staff of Irving Oil, O'Sullivan's Bros. DIY, Na Piarsaigh Hurling & Football Club for their support over the last few months.
