Bill (William) Thompson

On the 24th June 2025 Bill passed away at University Hospital Galway surrounded by his adoring family after a battle bravely fought. Beloved husband of his heartbroken wife Ann and father to Kerry, father-in-law to Mark and gramps to Sebastian, Theo and Noah.

Predeceased by his father William (Sen).

Deeply missed by his wife, daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, mother Pamela, sisters Denise and Joyce, brother Ian. brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives extended Thompson and Dolan families, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at Cawley's Funeral Home, Craughwell (H91 W2V3) on Thursday evening from 5.30pm until 7pm. Funeral cortege will arrive at St. Colman's Church, Craughwell on Friday for mass at 11.30am (click HERE to view Funeral Mass Live). Cremation afterwards in Shannon Crematorium at 3pm.
