Bill (Willie) Somers

SOMERS (Castlemartyr and formerly of Ballinlough, Cork): On June 25th, 2025, peacefully in the presence of his loving family at the Bon Secours Hospital, BILL (Willie) (Sunday’s Well Tennis Club, Castlemartyr Golf Club and The Aghern Golf Society), predeceased by his parents Peg (née Buckley) and Bill Somers, much loved dad of Barry and Susan, loving partner of Una, dear brother of John, Peter and Mary.

Sadly missed by his loving daughter-in-law Jennifer, son-in-law Colm, grandchildren Caoimhe, Cuan, Saoirse and Éabha, Barry and Susan’s mother Sheila and extended family and friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’ Connor Ltd. on Friday (June 27th) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

Cremation Service (open to all family and friends) will take place at 4.00pm on Saturday (June 28th) at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
