Peacefully, at home. Beloved husband of Mary, dear dad of Kathleen, son of the late William and Mary Alice and brother of Alice (Clarke) and the late Mary (McGuinness), Robert, Oliver and Jimmy. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, daughter, sister, grandchildren Sinead, David and Amanda, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to Level 5 restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Billy’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family only.

There will be an opportunity for the community to show support and to remember Billy by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Tuesday, March 9th as the funeral cortège leaves Quinn’s Funeral Home, Bridge Street, proceeding on foot to St. Nicholas’ Church for Funeral Mass at 11am. Afterwards, the cortège will proceed, driving, to St. Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.
To keep everyone safe, please adhere to social distancing, wear a face covering and refrain from handshaking and hugging.
