Billy Kirby
KIRBY (“Ocean View”, Lehina, Lislevane): on April 3rd 2025 peacefully surrounded by his family at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork. BILLY (Haulier) beloved husband of Mona (nee Hayes), much loved father of Micheál, Gerard, Kay (O’Donovan), Mona (Fleming) and Billy (Jnr.), brother of the late Michael John, Donie and Christy. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, daughters-in-law Kathleen, Claire and Diana, son-in-law Denis, grandchildren Patrick, Diarmuid, Christopher, Rachel, Anthony, Liam, Gearóid, James, Ciarán, Liam, Denise, Katherine and Lily, sisters-in-law Nora (O’Leary) and Gretta (Kirby), cousin Betty (U.S.A.), nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at his residence (Eircode P72 XF63) on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4pm to 8pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12 noon in the Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea, Barryroe. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to Lislevane Cemetery.
