Billy (William) Gaffney

Clondalkin, Dublin / Ballyfermot, Dublin

Gaffney, Billy (William) – 10th of December 2025, (Clondalkin and formerly of Blackditch, Ballyfermot), (Peacefully), surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the staff of St James Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Johnny and May, brothers Harry And John, sister Dolores. Billy will be very sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife Bernadette, daughters Amanda and Nicole, son’s Paul, Declan and Eric, daughters-in-law Emma, Nicki, his adored grandchildren Lauren, Tori, Shannon, Robyn, Lacey, Lucas, Rebecca, Jaxon and Leon, great granddaughter Darcie-Ray, sisters Eileen, Carol and May, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Billy will be reposing at his residence on Monday the 15th of December from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to St Matthews Church, Ballyfermot arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium.

The Gaffney family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff in St James Hospital, for their professional, empathetic, and dedicated attention they gave Billy during his time in their care.
