The death has occurred of Bob Mayne, Carralavin, Bonniconlon. Deeply regretted by his sister Pamela, nephew Goeffrey, Patsy and family and many many friends, priests and parish community in Ballina.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina on Thursday from 6pm until 7pm. Funeral cortege will leave McGowan’s funeral home on Friday morning to arrive to St. Muredach’s Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 11:30am.

Cremation will take place on Tuesday 1st March at 2pm in Shannon crematorium.

I’ve finished life’s chores assigned to me,

So put me on a boat headed out to sea.

Please send along my fishing pole

For I’ve been invited to the fishin’ hole.

Where every day is a day to fish,
