Bobby Whelan

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Bobby Whelan on Wednesday the 11th of February 2026.

Bobby will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family. Beloved husband to his late wife Pauline. Deeply missed by his children Robert and Sandra, daughter-in-law Roisin, son-in-law David. His grandchildren Darragh,Tyler, Cillian, Zac, Luke,Saoirse, Tilly and Lochlan.
His loving mother Teresa, his sisters Linda, Janet, Teresa and brother Paul.

In-laws, friends, neighbours and extended family in Tyrone and London work colleagues from the Mater Hospital and Smurfits

Forever loved and never forgotten.

Bobby's remains will repose at his home this Thursday from 6.30pm and Friday the 20th February 2026 all day.

Funeral Mass will take place this Saturday morning at 10am at Church of Saint Oliver Plunkett, Rivermount Parish, Finglas South, Dublin 11

Followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery Finglas Road, Dublin 9.
