The death has occurred of Mr. Bozlur Rahman, retired Surgeon, formerly of “Balaka”, Shore Road, Dundalk and originally from Khidir Baria, Bangladesh.
He died peacefully in Dublin on Monday 9th March 2026, in blessed Ramadan, at the age of 96, surrounded by loving family.
Predeceased by his loving wife Máirín Murray Rahman, brothers Lutfur and Zillur, sisters Subhi, Rejia and Feroza.
Greatly missed by his loving family, son Mark, daughters Rebecca, Rachael and Naomi, son in law John, brother Daudar, brother in law Brendan, sisters in law Stella, Neilu, Ethna and Verna, nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours and the Muslim Community.
Reposing at the Dublin Mosque, South Circular Road, on Wednesday 11th March from 12.15pm to 12.45pm, followed immediately by Janaza prayers for the deceased. Burial at Newcastle Cemetery, Co. Dublin.
May Allah (SWT) forgive him, have mercy upon him, accept his good deeds and grant him the highest place in Jannah, insha’Allah.
