Br. Anthony Jones

The death has occurred of Br Anthony (Joe) Jones ocso, Bolton Abbey, Moone, Co. Kildare. Formerly of Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow. Peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at Suncroft Nursing Home.

Predeceased by his parents, Peter and Brigid, his sisters, Maureen, Peggy and Sr. Celine (Kay) and his brothers, Liam, Peadar, Micheál and Seán.

He will be sadly missed by his brother Paddy, his sister-in-law Christine Jones, his nieces and nephews and their extended families, his fellow monks at Bolton Abbey and his many friends and relatives.

Br. Anthony requested his body be donated to medical science and therefore there will be no funeral, however a memorial Mass will take place in Bolton Abbey, Moone, Co. Kildare. R14 PP98 at 2pm on Friday 27th October.
