Fuair bás go suaimhneach in Óispidéal Naomh Uinseann Dé hAoine an 3ú lá de mhí na Samhna 2023, in aois a cheithre bliana déag is cheithre fichid. Imithe roimhe tá a mhac, Diarmuid, a dheartháracha agus a dheirfiúracha. Méala mór is ea a bhás dá bhean chéile ionúin Ann, dá chlann mhac, Gearóid, Brian agus Breandán, dá iníon, Máire, dá chliamhain, Damian, dá bhanchliamhain, Kasia, agus do chlann a chlainne, Jan Diarmuid, Laoise, Cillian, Finn agus Eva. Is boichtede a ghaolta, a chomharsain agus a chairde uile a éagadh.

Beidh Breandán á thórramh i dTigh Tórraimh Uí Dhonnabháin sa Naigín idir 5 .i.n. agus 7 i.n. Dé Luain 6 Samhain. Déarfar Aifreann na Marbh dó i Séipéal Bhantiarna na mBua, An Naigín (A96 VY54) ar a 10.00 r.n. Dé Máirt 7 Samhain agus beidh sé á adhlacadh ina dhiaidh sin ag Reilig Ghráinseach an Déin.

Ó Cróinín (Cronin), Breandán, (retired Deputy Chief Inspector, Department of Education), Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, and formerly of Meentogues, Rathmore, Co. Kerry. Died peacefully in St. Vincent’s Hospital on the 3rd of November in his ninety fifth year. Predeceased by his son Diarmuid and by his brothers and sisters. He is mourned by his beloved wife of 67 years, Ann, his sons, Gearóid, Brian and Breandán, his daughter Máire, his son-in-law, Damian, his daughter-in-law, Kasia, and his grandchildren Jan Diarmuid, Laoise, Cillian, Finn and Eva. He will be greatly missed by his relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 PW73 on Monday (Nov 6th) from 5pm until 7pm with a gathering of family and friends for 6.45pm prayer service (all welcome to attend). Removal on Tuesday (Nov 7th) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin arriving for 10am Requiem Mass followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
