Sweeney (Loretto Park, Friars Walk) On February 5th 2023, peacefully in the presence of her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at St. Finbarr’s Hospital, Breda (Bridie, nee Hurley) beloved wife of Francie, treasured mother of AnneMarie, Audrey, Edward, Pat and Leona, dear sister of Seanie, Kathleen, Willie, Pat, Mary, Eleanor, Martina, Eddie and the late Finbarr. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Kevin, Barry and Stephen, daughters-in-law Alicja and Florence, her eleven cherished grandchildren Sean, Brian, Robert, Caoimhe, Kate, Matthew, Niall, Lucas, Patrick, Shane, Sarah and AnnaBrid, great-grandchildren Lacie and Keegan, extended family and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Sullivans Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Tuesday (7th) from 5.00pm until 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (8th) at 11.00am in the Church of the Assumption Ballyphehane, funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery Curraghkippane.

 

No flowers please donations in lieu to the Friends of St. Finbarr’s Hospital.
