Breda Gilligan
(née Murphy)
16th August, 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Connolly Hospital; beloved mother of the late Audrey and grandmother of the late Baby Geri; pre-deceased by her parents John and Eileen Murphy and her sisters Marie, Peggy and Phyllis. Breda will be sadly missed by her loving husband James (Jimmy), daughters Alison and Gemma, sons John and Pádraig, sister Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Amy, Ellen, Catherine, James, Hannah, Daniel and Holly, great-grandchildren Aubrey and Alex, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May Breda Rest In Peace.
Reposing at her home on Thursday from 5.00p.m. until 8.00p.m. Removal on Friday morning to The Church Of Our Lady Of The Assumption, Ballyfermot, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00a.m. followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.
The Family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Connolly Hospital and previous the staff at Elm Green Nursing Home, Castleknock for their exceptional care of Breda.
