Breda Kent Piltown Co Kilkenny

Breda (Beda) Kent Piltown, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford. Breda passed quietly on the morning of 25th January 2024, aged 93.

The first Public Health Nurse appointed to Piltown and the surrounding area, Breda was a well known and popular figure in the community. Her strong work ethic and generosity prevailed.

She was a strong and independent woman and her most recent conversations recollected her pride and satisfaction in a life well lived.

She was a twin and one of twelve children. She is survived by her sister, Ann. She will be sadly missed by Ann, Ann’s husband Phil, by Sharon and her husband Hamish, Lloret, Trish, Sean, her grand nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

She was recently very well looked after in Mooncoin Nursing Home, having lived a strong and independent life at home until just a little over 6 months ago.

Rest In Peace

Arriving at the Church of the Assumption Piltown on Sunday, 28th January, for funeral Mass at 12 noon , followed by burial in Newtown Cemetery , Kilmacthoms, Co Waterford
