Breda McCoy
(née Gallagher)
On February 7, 2026, peacefully at home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Derek and infant son, Gerard. Much loved mother of Deirdre, Éamon, Diarmuid, Bryan, Claire, Bríd, and Katherine. Sadly missed by her daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren Patrick, Hannah, Claire, Mark, Ciara, Luke, Tim, Cate, Sarah, David, Paul, Isabel, Louis, Matthew, Oscar, Tess, Oliver and Mary-Kate, great granddaughters Nora and Adeline, brother Bryan and sister-in-law Maeve, her niece Rose, extended family and friends.
Requiescat in Pace.
Reposing at her residence in Droumleigh, Bantry, P75 VF76 on Thursday 12, February from 4pm to 6pm with rosary at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Friday 13, at 12 noon, St Finbarr's Church, Chapel St, Bantry (to view live stream please click here). Funeral afterwards to the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.
