Breda McDonald
(née O'Gorman)
The Friary,
Saunderscourt,
Crossabeg
and formerly of Poulpeasty, Taghmon.
Died peacefully on 6th May 2025 in Castle Gardens Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her late husband Séan, her parents John and Anastasia O'Gorman, her sister Nancy O'Connor, brothers Dennis and Séan. Also her brothers-in-law Paddy Callan (Navan), Michael O'Connor (Oylegate) and her sisters-in-law Josie O'Gorman and Margaret O'Gorman. Also brothers-in-law Paddy, Martin and Fr. Fintan McDonald. Also Lee, Eileen and Aine McDonald, nieces Ciara and Aedin McDonald.
Sadly missed by her daughter Mary Dempsey (Blackwater), sons Donnacha, John (Dunhill, Waterford), Ciarán (Ballycumber, Offaly), Niall, Diarmuid and Brian (Naas, Co. Kildare), brothers Paddy and Noel, sister Eileen Callan(Navan), son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Mary, Rita, Teresa, Getta, Tina and Ann. Also her 24 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Ethel and Mairead, brother-in-law Brendan McDonald (Dublin), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
May she Rest in Peace.

Reposing in her family house, The Friary, Crossabeg (Y35 YP77) on Thursday 8th May and Friday 9th May from 2p.m. to 8p.m.
Removal to Crossabeg Parish Church on Saturday 10th May for Funeral Mass at 2p.m. - Webcam Link Below. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
