It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Breda O’Brien, Mervue Lawn, Ballyvolane, Cork, who passed away on 26th of December 2025, peacefully at home.

Breda (Née Murphy) dearly loved wife of Dermot, adored mother of Triona, Gearóid, Cian and Aaron.

Predeceased by her parents Kathleen and James (Ca & Fox).

Sadly, missed by her loving husband and family, grandchildren Conor, Adam, Leanne, Darragh, Rosie, Fionn, great-grandchild Sofia, son-in-law Danny, daughters-in-law Lisa, Karen, Chanice, Granddaughter in-law Meghan and brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, her best friend Kathleen, neighbours and a large circle of bingo friends.
