It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Breda O’Brien, Mervue Lawn, Ballyvolane, Cork, who passed away on 26th of December, 2025, peacefully at home.

Breda (Née Murphy) dearly loved wife of Dermot, adored mother of Triona, Gearóid, Cian and Aaron.

Predeceased by her parents Kathleen and James (Ca & Fox).

 

Sadly missed by her loving husband and family, grandchildren Conor, Adam, Leanne, Darragh, Rosie, Fionn, great-grandchild Sofia, son-in-law Danny, daughters-in-law Lisa, Karen, Chanice, granddaughter in-law Meghan and brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, her best friend Kathleen, neighbours and a large circle of bingo friends.

Reposing at the family home Mervue Lawn, Ballyvolane, (T23 A6XY) on Monday 29th December from 2.00pm to 4.00pm with Prayers at 4.00pm.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday 30th December at 11.00am in St. Oliver's Church, Ballyvolane,which be live streamed Here

Followed by burial in St. Catharine's Cemetery, Kilcully.
